Corvette Jet Ski is Like Riding a Wild Orca with Rabies!
The Strand Craft V8 Wet Rod Jet Ski dragster is so ridiculous…you’ll wish you had two.
So you know that dream where you’re out in the Gulf of Mexico and you’re riding an aluminum V8 like it’s a trained super-dolphin hopped up on bath salts?
Oh. I maybe I’m the only person that has that dream. Well, for argument sake, let’s assume you dream of strapping yourself to a terrestrial based supercar engine and prowling the open ocean at terrifying speeds. How would you possibly achieve this? Most jet skis are powered by little more than a scooter engine with a little jet-impeller, nothing to give the feeling of taming an Orca whale that’s been sponsored by Jimmy Tango’s Fat Busters (SNL sketch from 1996 featuring Jim Carrey and Will Ferrell).
Until now.
Meet the Strand Craft V8 Wet Rod Jet Ski dragster. It’s a personal watercraft with a 300 hp V8 from a Corvette under the bonnet, it’ll pretty much whip anything you may encounter out on the lake. It’ll do 65 mph (that’s fast on water) and although the price is yet to be published, we’ll assume it costs more that the average American home.
