ZF is a tier 1 supplier to many of the world’s leading automobile manufacturers, providing transmissions and the underpinnings for many of the world’s finest automobiles.
Mercedes was on hand with the F 015 Concept (top), one of the most popular vehicles at the show,for it’s polarizing looks as well as it’s “self-driving” capability. Never missing an opportunity to remind the public of their recent Formula 1 Driver’s and Constructor’s Championships, Lewis Hamilton’s winning ride was also on hand.
VolksWagen group was well represented with display’s for VW, Audi and Bentley. The “Dune” Beetle was among their most popular concepts.
Finally, the Porsche “Targa” returned after a long hiatus, with a Detroit debut.
