Siemens PLM Regional User Group: PARTsolutions Shows Off in the Motor City

With more than 550 attendees and 24 exhibitors, the Michigan show is one of the largest RUG meetings in the country.

CADENAS PARTsolutions was recently an exhibiting partner at the Siemens PLM Detroit Regional Users Group (RUG) .  With more than 550 attendees and 24 exhibitors, the Michigan show is one of the largest RUG meetings in the country.

CADENAS PARTsolutions was recently an exhibiting partner at the Siemens PLM Detroit Regional Users Group (RUG).

The meeting kicked off with a presentation by Siemens PLM CEO Chuck Grindstaff, speaking on the advancements Siemens is making with their PLM environment and goals for the future. Chuck was followed with additional keynote speeches by Michael J. Morris, of General Dynamics, and finally Eric Sterling, Senior VP of Siemens PLM with a report on the Siemens PLM technology.

Following the keynotes, attendees broke out into 7 educational tracks featuring more than 35 individual sessions for Siemens PLM users, administrators and executives. Finishing off the event was the “Top Gun” competition, a design competition where 6 of the best and brightest students vie for a new iPad.

The 2013 Detroit Siemens PLM RUG was a very successful event, giving representatives from the automotive and defense industries an opportunity to network ,  fortify their PLM skillset and learn about the many options to refine their PLM operations.
