Land Speed Towing Record– Setting the World Record for Camper Trailer Towing
We’ll be roastin’ weenies in no-time, dude!
Ok, here’s the scenario. It’s 5 pm on the Friday before a big holiday weekend. You’re taking the Fam camping at the beach and have a laundry-list of things to do before you go.
You gotta get home, gather the family, load the truck, hook up the trailer and get to the campsite before every ya-hoo in the tri-state area beats you to the best camp site.
Not a chance bro-dozer…Unless you have this 1000 hp GMC diesel ready for weekend excitement. Watch the white-knuckle drive on the salt flats!
Pacific Performance Engineering saw this could be a problem for some weary weekend warriors, so they took on the mission of building the diesel monster for the job. A GMC 2500 HD provides the platform from which they create the monster. A turbo intercooler as well as new exhaust and a two-stage nitrous system give the boost needed to propel this beast in excess of 141 mph on the salt flats.
Carson trailer came up with the high-speed chariot, which is really just a standard trailer with some speed-rated tires! We’ll be roastin’ weenies in no-time, dude!
