The CAD configurator allows all configured and generated CAD models to be viewed by Bimba customers in 3D. Once the model has been generated in the online configurator, users will see a 3D glasses icon in the upper left hand corner. The screenshot on the left shows the standard CAD Model. Clicking on the 3D glasses icon activates the 3D, which is shown in the screenshot on the right. Users, who have traditional 3D glasses, can see the difference below. If not, they can request a pair by clicking the “Get Your 3D CAD Glasses” button in the right hand column on the web page, fill out the form, and receive a pair of Bimba 3D glasses.
In addition to the online capability, Bimba incorporated CADENAS PARTsolutions 3D Tradeshow Entertainment package, which uses 3D to create a unique customer experience at events. The 3D package was introduced at the Semicon West tradeshow in San Francisco CA, with significant results.
