The CADENAS PARTsolutions Team Attends Content Marketing World 2023
From September 26 to 28, 2023, the CADENAS PARTsolutions marketing team attended the Content Marketing World conference in Washington D.C. Content Marketing World is an annual conference that serves as a platform for knowledge sharing between content marketers across all industries. It brings together professionals and enthusiasts to discuss and learn about the latest trends, strategies, and best practices in content marketing.
The CADENAS PARTsolutions team also hosted a booth at Content Marketing World. With over 150 sessions and keynote speakers, the team spent all three days in Washington learning from various marketing leaders, content creators, and communication experts.
“I enjoyed hearing from people who are facing the same job challenges that I am,” stated Kelly Obbie, the team’s Social Media Coordinator. “I took a lot of notes when they shared specific tactics that I could apply to our marketing strategy.”
On the first day of the conference, the team attended a session led by industrial marketing pro Wendy Covey, the CEO at TREW Marketing. Assisted by Morgan Norris, a senior brand and content strategist, Covey covered the intricacies of marketing to a niche, B2B audience.
“It is great to see industrial marketing leaders like Wendy and Morgan sharing their insight,” said Content Marketing Manager Shelby Huber. “B2B marketing challenges span multiple industries, but hearing directly from those in the industrial space is exponentially helpful.”
Other leaders in the industrial space also presented at the conference. Former engineer and current Content and SEO Strategist at Fire&Spark, Dale Bertrand, led the conversation around SEO best practices in two different sessions, while Craig Coffey, the Content Strategy and Marketing Manager at Eaton, discussed the value of research and data collection.
In addition to industrial leaders, the team heard from marketers across all disciplines. “One of the best sessions I attended was given by Marcus Sheridan, an author and partner at IMPACT,” added Sheri Haan, a Business Development Representative for CADENAS PARTsolutions. The session helped the team understand buyer hesitation and how to build trust with customers. On the final day of the conference, the team attended the keynote session headlined by Elizabeth Banks. Moderated by Derek Thompson, a writer and editor for The Atlantic, Banks discussed her work promoting the American Heart Association and her personal brand.
“My favorite thing about the conference was Elizabeth Banks,” exclaimed Sydney Goad, a Business Development Representative for CADENAS PARTsolutions. “I loved her points on creative marketing and using your strengths to reach your audience.”
After returning home from the conference, the team started to implement new tactics and explore innovative content solutions like artificial intelligence and SEO-centric writing.
“I look forward to the next conference,” added Huber. “We will all attend the Industrial Marketing Summit at the beginning of next year, and I’m sure we’ll pick up even more focused and practical tips.”
