Senior Account Executive – 3Dfindit Enterprise

3DFindit is the world’s first and fastest growing 3D search engine with over 8 million users worldwide. Our cloud-based platform helps engineering teams find, reuse, and manage their digital design components like never before.

We’re growing our enterprise sales team in North America and looking for Account Executives to generate sales and grow revenue.

You will work closely with leadership, marketing and solutions consultants to identify and prospect new account targets, conduct sales outreach, lead sales engagements, and propose strategic solutions to win new business. You will target engineering environments (CAD, PLM/PDM, ERP) across multiple industries.

Skills & Experience:

  • 1-3+ years experience in technology sales. 
  • Successful track record of Enterprise or Mid-Market software sales.
  • Exceptional presentation, written and communication skills. 
  • Ability to create Account Plans and willingness to track activity in CRM.
  • Experience and comfort conducting web-meetings on camera.
  • Experience leveraging technology and innovative techniques in the sales process.
  • Knowledge, skills and experience to navigate complex buying environments and cycles.

Not Required, Big Plus:

  • Experience with CAD/PLM enterprise engineering systems.
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following CAD/PLM environments: Creo/ Windchill / Creo, NX/Teamcenter or Solidworks/Enovia.
  • Understanding of real-world mechanical or electrical engineering design processes, workflows and challenges.


What Your Typical Day Looks Like:

  • Prospecting for new business opportunities, identifying and cultivating relationships with key decision makers at VP and C Levels within your target accounts / market.
  • Conducting value-based discovery and selling over the phone, email, web meetings and in-person when needed.
  • Facilitating discovery calls and presenting solutions that align with the prospects challenges and desired outcomes.
  • Investigating and understanding the prospects internal business processes and building solution strategies and sales plans to address pains and needs.
  • Drafting and delivering detailed proposals reflecting the proposed solutions, pricing, etc.
  • Keeping deal moving and negotiating to close.
  • Attending industry events to network and prospect.
  • Travel approx 10%.
