Warm Welcome to Bryan – Our Newest Business Dev. Consultant and Account Executive
Say hello to our newest Business Development Consultant & Account Executive for eCATALOGsolutions: Bryan Wentz!
Bryan is a Cincinnatian from Fairfield, who has previously worked in both sales and marketing roles for engineering and tech companies. He worked as a Marketing Manager for Advanced Electrical Supply Company LLC before making the transition to sales, which he feels is a more natural fit for his personality.
He was also the Personal Assistant to the President/CEO at Milhouse Engineering & Construction, Inc., a minority-owned company in Chicago in which he worked to supply power development to countries in West Africa. As part of the Power Africa program, he travelled to Nigeria, Senegal, Ghana and more to develop power projects that would bring electricity to communities where there had not been access to power.
Where did you grow up/ go to school?
I grew up in Cincinnati and graduated from Fairfield High School. After graduating at Miami University, I worked in Chicago for a few years and then Newport Beach, CA.
Tell us about your role at CADENAS PARTsolutions:
In a nutshell, my job is to help manufacturers grow their business by using our digital solutions to become easier to do business with. My focus will be on the West Coast.
What are you most looking forward to in this new role?
I’m looking forward to developing the West Coast and Northwest area of the country. There is a ton of opportunity for manufacturers there to improve using eCATALOGsolutions. So I’m eager to start helping them get up to date on the technology they need.
How do you see yourself in this role adding value to our team and our customers?
My philosophy as a sales person and account executive is that I always want to be there for my clients. I like to say, “My phone is always on,” so if a client needs me, I’ll be there for them. I want to make sure my clients feel well taken care of and supported.
The “Lightning Round”:
Favorite movie: I think I’ve got to say it’s a tie for Forrest Gump and Field of Dreams.
Best vacation ever: St. Lucia (an island in the Caribbean) – we met three amazing families there from Seattle and the UK. We’ve stayed in touch since and are actually all getting back together in St. Lucia next year.
Last book you read: The Scramble for Africa by Thomas Pakenham
What do you do for fun: I love to travel, play tennis and golf. Since moving back to Cincinnati, I have a renewed excitement for doing things with friends and family – anything!
Food you can’t live without: Skyline.
Favorite TV show: Mad Men – it’s an incredible show.
Favorite band: That’s also a tie between Phish and the Dave Mathews Band.
