Numatics Boasts 7,000 3D Digital Product Downloads Per Month

PackEXPO – LAS VEGAS, NV – Oct. 5, 2009 – PARTsolutions, LLC, a global provider of 3D part catalogs for manufacturers and enterprises today announced that Numatics Incorporated, a leading manufacturer of pneumatics and motion control products, is receiving an average of 7,000 3D and 2D digital product downloads per month requested in more than 55 file formats as a result of its 3D part catalog technology. Numatics, a division of Emerson, has leveraged PARTcatalog™ from PARTsolutions to web enable its product line including air preparation, motion control, directional control valves, fieldbus electronics and accessories since 2003. Customers accessing its digital product content include 3M, ABB, Alliant Techsystems, Eagle Technologies, Illinois Tool Works, Nestle Purina and Pella Corporation. Catalog content has been requested in 55 different 2D & 3D CAD and graphic formats including Adobe® Acrobat® PDF, AutoCAD®, Autodesk® Inventor®, CATIA®, Pro/ENGINEER®, SolidWorks®, STEP, and JPEG. This week at Pack Expo in Las Vegas, Numatics and PARTsolutions are showcasing an enhanced version of its 3D Part Catalog solution, DPM CAD Configurator, which will further streamline the timeintensive process of assembling product content in order to establish quick design as a primary competitive advantage.
