First PARTsolutions Customer Extends Agreement and Reach

Milford, OH and Ft. Wayne, IN – August 19, 2009 – PARTsolutions, LLC, a global provider of 3D part catalogs for manufacturers and enterprises, and PHD Inc., a leading global automation components manufacturer, are expanding their 9-year partnership. As PARTsolutions’ first U.S.-based customer, PHD has received 35 times more sales leads since implementing PARTsolutions’ PARTcatalog® technology. The company continues to see the value of delivering CAD-native data of its products, as evidenced by the extension of its contract through 2012 and its decision to strategically leverage the company’s technology as a part of its product engineering process.

The new agreement expands beyond Internet properties to include design optimization within the company’s engineering group, which will help PHD simplify the product design process for its customers. Under the terms of the agreement, PHD also gains access to the PARTsolutions enterprise customer install base, which significantly extends the companies reach to new companies and markets.

The solution also
increases lead generation by allowing PHD to track who is accessing designs and proactively deliver sales and support information to its customers.
