West Coast Sales Representative – Technology

Job description

We’re looking for a driven contributor to join our sales team as our West Coast Rep. If you’re an ambitious, self-starter with an entrepreneurial work ethic who wants to be a part of a high-energy team with growth and earnings potential, please get in touch.

As a PARTsolutions Sales Representative, your focus will be achieving defined sales goals and closing business. You will work with company leadership, sales management, marketing and product specialists to identify key prospects and execute sales activities.

You’ll:

  • Achieve individual sales goals
  • Cover West Coast Territory of California, Oregon & Washington State
  • Identify and cultivate new prospects, sales leads and contacts within your target clients
  • Reach out via email and phone to drive new opportunities
  • Build relationships with key decision makers at the VP and C level
  • Develop knowledge and expertise specific to your products and target markets
  • Manage sales pipeline in Salesforce® CRM application
  • Deliver online presentations focused on delivering business value and client success stories
  • Set up face to face meetings in the field with prospects
  • Conduct value-based selling over the phone, web and in person
  • Attend industry trade shows and events to network and prospect as needed
  • Travel: 10% – 25%

The right person for this position has:

  • A genuine desire to help customers improve their business using technology
  • A healthy competitive drive to hunt for and close business
  • 2-10 years sales experience in technology or related field
  • Knowledge and practice in modern selling methods
  • The ability to learn fast and pick up new things quickly
  • Effective listening, communication and great people skills
  • The ability to give stellar presentations and engage clients
  • Proficiency with Salesforce® CRM, Microsoft Office® and GoToMeeting® web conferencing
  • Ability to conduct web-based presentations via the internet and phone as well as coordinate face to face meetings with contacts at multiple levels of your target organizations
  • Successful sales track record

 Big Plus:

  • Experience with industrial components, manufacturing or product configuration software and 3D CAD
